Freshly Picked: A Summer Evening at Prati Italia with The Strawberry Society

There is something special about gathering around one long table. The conversations linger, the laughter comes easily, and by the end of the evening, strangers often leave as friends.
On June 25th, The Strawberry Society welcomed members to our second quarterly dinner of the year, Freshly Picked, hosted at one of Jacksonville's most beloved restaurants, Prati Italia in the St. Johns Town Center. Inspired by the beauty of an Italian summer garden, the evening was filled with incredible food, thoughtful details, and the kind of genuine connection that has become the heart of The Strawberry Society.
An Italian Summer-Inspired Tablescape
Every Strawberry Society dinner is designed around a unique theme, and Freshly Picked celebrated the beauty of the summer harvest.
Guests arrived to a long table adorned with flowing chartreuse linens, fresh basil planted inside authentic San Marzano tomato cans, clusters of ripe tomatoes, personalized vintage tomato seed packets at each place setting, and custom menus designed exclusively for the evening.
The details created an atmosphere that felt effortlessly elegant, like an evening shared in the Italian countryside, right here in Jacksonville.
More Than Dinner, A Community
While the décor was beautiful, the true highlight of the evening was watching meaningful connections unfold.
Some members were reconnecting with familiar faces, while others were attending their very first Strawberry Society event. Within minutes, introductions turned into conversations, conversations turned into laughter, and by dessert, new friendships had already begun.
That's what Strawberry Society is all about.
Our dinners are intentionally designed to bring together women from every industry and stage of life. Entrepreneurs, creatives, professionals, mothers, and community leaders. The goal is to create a space for real relationships that extend well beyond a single evening.
A Meal Worth Savoring
Prati Italia prepared an incredible seasonal Italian dinner that perfectly complemented the evening's theme.
Members enjoyed a champagne welcome, fresh burrata, seasonal salads, house-made pasta, signature Italian entrées, decadent tiramisu, and plenty of wine and conversation.
Every course reflected the same level of care and craftsmanship that has made Prati Italia a favorite dining destination in Jacksonville.

Coordinating a private dinner for a large group requires an exceptional team, and Prati Italia made the entire evening feel seamless.

One of our favorite parts of every Strawberry Society event is creating experiences that feel thoughtful from beginning to end. From personalized place cards and fresh herbs to signature menus, beautiful tablescapes, and champagne to welcome each guest, every detail is chosen with intention.
Because while beautiful events are memorable, it's the feeling people leave with that matters most.
Looking Ahead
As the evening came to a close, members lingered around the table, exchanged phone numbers, planned coffee dates, and continued conversations that had started just hours earlier.
