Amelia Island Wedding Venue and a burst of coolor

When you think of a fall wedding in Florida, you might picture muted tones, pumpkins, or rust and burgundy everywhere. But Ivey and Kyle Tallis’ wedding at Walker’s Landing in Amelia Island was anything but ordinary. It was vibrant, playful, vintage inspired, and completely full of heart.

October in Florida gifted us perfect weather, a perfect vendor team, and of course, a perfect couple. From the moment I arrived, it was clear this day was a true reflection of Ivey and Kyle. Every detail, every color, every vibe perfectly captured who they are.

A Ceremony Framed by the Oaks

Walker’s Landing is pure Amelia Island magic, with towering oaks, soft marsh views, and golden light that feels like it was made for this day. Ivey and Kyle said “I do” beneath the sweeping branches, surrounded by bright, playful florals that brought the season to life.

Ivey’s bouquet was a stunner with peonies, ranunculus, and dahlias in bold shades of coral, pink, and mustard. The ceremony was not just beautiful, it felt alive, full of personality and love. No pumpkins, no muted tones, just color, warmth, and laughter. The florals were designed by A Wild Array, a local Jacksonville florist known for their organic, artful, and color forward designs, and they brought so much movement and texture to the entire ceremony space.

Vintage Charm Meets Coastal Fun

Inside the reception, the color story continued with vintage, mismatched dinner plates at every place setting. No two were alike and each told its own story. Tables were draped in linens layered with florals and textured glassware, creating a warm, welcoming, and eclectic vibe.

Adding an extra special personal touch, Ivey created her own vintage inspired colorful chandeliers to hang from the rafters, bringing a playful and whimsical feel to the space. It was the kind of detail that made the reception truly unforgettable.

Later in the evening, Ivey changed into a flirty little feather dress paired with gold platform heels, ready to dance the night away. It was bold, fun, and perfectly reflective of her personality, an effortless mix of glamour and playfulness.

When the music started, the dance floor filled instantly, every guest fully embracing the joy and energy of the day.

Golden Hour Portraits

As the sun dipped behind the marsh, Ivey and Kyle stole a few quiet moments for portraits. The golden light wrapped around them in the most magical way, softening the world and highlighting their love. These are the moments I live for, where everything slows and all that is left is the connection between two people completely in love.

Why This Wedding Was Unforgettable

Ivey and Kyle’s wedding proves that fall weddings do not have to follow a script. Color, creativity, and personality can shine in every season, especially when paired with the right vendor team and a couple who knows how to celebrate their way.

From bold florals to vintage plates, handmade colorful chandeliers, a feathered dance dress, perfect October weather, and a day that truly reflected who they are, it was magical in every sense.
