I got to photograph The Strawberry Society’s very first social, Set Sail, and honestly… I’m still not over it. Can I be on a boat every Wednesday??

Nothing forced, nothing stiff, just real connection (and yes, incredible lighting). Can we also talk about the outfits?? Who doesn’t love a theme?

And we need to talk about the Strawberry Spritz. She was the moment. Rosé, strawberries, fresh, aesthetic, and extremely photogenic… aka everything you want when you’re creating event content and brand photography. Paired with beautifully styled grazing tables from Let’s Cheese and custom cookies from Just a Fancy Cookie, every detail felt intentional and camera ready.

They even had a sunscreen and skincare station with Fountain of Youth Med Spa which… as someone who shoots in Florida sun constantly… elite planning. Thoughtful details like this are what elevate a luxury networking event experience and make guests feel taken care of.

And DJ Wes 2K… listen… he understood the assignment. The music, the flow, the energy… it all translated so well on camera and kept the entire experience feeling effortless. A good DJ at an event like this makes a huge difference not just in the vibe, but in the kind of candid, high-energy moments you can capture as an event photographer in Jacksonville.

But what really made this event stand out wasn’t just how beautiful it was (even though, trust me, it photographed like a dream). It was the intention behind it. You could feel it in every conversation I captured. This wasn’t just a networking event, it was a space for female entrepreneurs, creatives, and business owners in Florida to connect in a way that actually felt meaningful.

The Strawberry Society hosts two signature socials each year, designed to be more open and expansive than their intimate dinners.
