Jacob reached out to me this summer and asked me to document his proposal to Alexandra. Let me just tell you guys, I love surprises. I love to receive them, I love to give them and I love to capture them. So I will jump on any opportunity to be apart of a surprise engagement. Jacob rented a sail boat, Schooner Freedom Charter in St. Augustine Florida, during sunset Jacob got down on one knee and asked Alexandra to spend the rest of her life with him.

The sweeter part of this surprise was not only the gorgeous emerald cut diamond ring but all of their best friends hiding in the cabin of the sail boat.

After Jacob proposed, their friends joyfully greeted the couple on the deck of the sail boat. Alexandra cried as she hugged each of her friends while taking in every detail of the moment. As we sailed through the inlet, we all watched the sunset together and toasted the couple. Jacob and Alexandra sat very close together laughing and holding onto each other.

Jacob and Lexi started dating a little over seven years ago and quickly fell in love. They plan to have a romantic evening wedding next December at Epping Forest Yacht Club with their family and friends. I can’t wait to celebrate with you two, cheers to forever!

At this point Jacob should probably start a proposal planning business. He was so detailed and careful through this process. If you are planning a proposing to your best friend definitely hire a photographer. Whether it’s an intimate moment between the two of you or your loved ones are hiding near. These are special sweet moments that you’ll want to remember for the rest of your lives.
