A Day in the Life: Photographing Pets at SEVO Med in Jacksonville, Florida

This week reminded me why I truly have the best job in the world. I spent the week bouncing between SEVO Med’s two amazing veterinary clinics — one off Beach Blvd and the other in the heart of Orange Park — capturing some of the most lovable dogs and cats in Jacksonville. Getting to hang out with sweet pets all day and call it work? Yes, please. From energetic puppies trying to kiss the camera to calm, wise old cats perched like royalty, every single animal had its own little story.

But what made these sessions even more meaningful was the people behind the pets. The staff at both locations were absolutely incredible. You can tell right away how much they love what they do. It made the day even more special watching the way they comforted their patients (and their humans too). Capturing that genuine care and connection is exactly what branding photography is all about — telling the story of a business through authentic moments and real emotion.

As a branding photographer, I love helping local businesses like SEVO Med show who they are, not just what they do. Whether it’s the way a vet gently holds a nervous pup or the joyful chaos of a waiting room full of wagging tails, those are the little things that make a brand truly shine.

SEVO Med plans to use these photos to decorate their clinics, creating a space that feels warm, welcoming, and full of life.
