Summer Mini Sessions in Jacksonville Beach — A Season to Remember
This summer has been pure magic. I had the absolute joy of photographing over 30 incredible families during my Summer Mini Sessions in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, and I’m still pinching myself over how special it all felt.
There’s just something about summer on the coast—salt in the air, sun-kissed skin, and that soft golden glow as the sun dips below the horizon. Jacksonville Beach truly delivered the perfect backdrop for capturing timeless moments, and I’m so thankful to every family who trusted me to photograph theirs.
What Made These Sessions So Special?
Each session was quick (just 20 minutes!) but packed with energy, laughter, and connection. Whether it was toddlers splashing their toes in the waves, giggles from sandy siblings, or couples wrapped up in cozy beachside snuggles—every moment felt meaningful.
For some families, this was their very first professional photo session. For others, it was a chance to document a fleeting season of life—pregnancy, a first summer as parents, or simply the joy of just being together.
With school out and schedules a little more relaxed, summer was the perfect time for families to slow down and soak in the moments together. Kids were full of excitement, parents weren’t rushing between activities, and Jacksonville Beach became everyone’s happy place.
One of my favorite things about photographing families is encouraging kids to just be themselves. I always tell parents: don’t stress about the “perfect” pose. Let your kids play, dig in the sand, search for shells and shark teeth, or chase the tide. That’s when the magic happens—the real smiles, the wonder in their eyes, the fleeting moments of childhood frozen in time. Those little in-between moments are the ones that always end up being your favorites.
Why I Love Summer Minis
As a photographer and a mom, I know how fast time flies. That’s why I believe in the power of mini sessions—stress-free, bite-sized photoshoots that still deliver big memories. No need for elaborate outfits or hours of posing. Just come as you are, and I’ll handle the rest.

Those last 5 minutes of golden hour where the sky turned cotton candy pink
Every single session reminded me why I love what I do—and why I’ll never get tired of shooting at the beach.
